Data Warehouse Appliance Leader Adds 19 New Customers in the First Half of 2006 to Growing List of Global, Brand-name Companies
Framingham, MA — September 12, 2006 — Netezza Corporation, the global data warehouse appliance market leader, today announced significant customer growth and expansion into new markets with the Netezza Performance Server® (NPS®) family of data warehouse appliances. In the first half of 2006, Netezza added 19 new customers – more than double the number of new customer wins in the first half of 2005. In addition, 16 existing customers expanded their Netezza deployments in the first half of 2006, a testament to the proven track record and customer success of Netezza’s worldwide customer base.

New companies signing on with Netezza in the first half of 2006 include CompuCredit Corporation, Global Red, Michaels Stores, Inc., MOS Food Services, Inc. and Orange Home (formerly Wanadoo). Companies who have purchased additional systems include Catalina, CNET and Epsilon.
The power and simplicity of the Netezza data warehouse appliance also continues to resonate in new markets and geographies with three new U.S. Federal customers signed in the first half of 2006 and five new customers in Asia.
