NETEZZA OPENS EUROPEAN OFFICE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM

Framingham, Mass.—March 25, 2004—Netezza Corporation today announced it has opened its first European office in Bracknell, UK. The establishment of this office will enable Netezza to better serve its customers as the company continues the business growth it has experienced in the last year.

Since its introduction just one year ago, the Netezza Performance Server™ (NPS™) data warehouse appliance has been deployed by leading companies in telecommunications, retail, the life sciences and other industries to power their business intelligence efforts. Telecommunications leaders Orange UK and Caudwell Communications are among Netezza’s European-based customers. Additional worldwide customers include: AT&T Wireless, The TJX Companies, Epsilon and Premier, Inc.
