Membership

Netezza offers three tiers of NDN membership, including access to the NPS® SPUBox development platform. Starting with a 30-day free "evaluation membership," the program is structured to allow partners to make use of the NDN as much as their business needs require without creating undue financial and organizational burden.

Two of the program tiers allow NDN members to schedule access to a shared pool of SPUBox systems at Netezza. These systems run the latest version of the NPS platform and NDN software. The new program also means that new NDN memberships are now being evaluated and accepted. The top tier provides for dedicated SPUBoxes to be provided on-site to NDN members for their development and testing purposes.

The three NDN membership offerings include:

• Tier 1 Membership: Licensed dedicated on-site SPUBox, plus annualized membership (year 2+)
• Tier 2 Membership: Fee-based, annualized access to SHARED SPUBox pool
• Evaluation Membership: FREE - 30-Day, trial access to SHARED SPUBox pool

Tier 1 Membership
Membership Logistics:

• Cost: $20,000
• Term: 1 year
• Renewal: $5,000/year

Benefits include:

• Dedicated SPUBox on customer/partner site with the latest hardware and software
• Opportunity for hardware upgrades, as needed
• Joint marketing opportunities for application launch including:
  
  • Prominent placement on the NDN partner website for market visibility
  • Opportunity for joint press release announcing application and partnership
  • Joint data sheet using standard NDN format
  • Introduction of completed applications to Netezza worldwide sales team via webinar
  • Discounted, priority space at Netezza conferences

Resources:

• Unlimited support via ndnsupport@netezza.com
• Replacement parts at no additional fee; assuming normal "wear & tear" and based on "reasonable effort" replacement periods
• Five (5) training credits for on-site training at Netezza HQ or the Netezza UK offices (usable for the "NPS OnStream™ Technology" course or any other of the NPS curriculum)

Tier 2 Membership
Membership Logistics:

• Cost: $5,000
• Term: 1 year
• Renewal: $5,000/year

Benefits include:

• Ongoing access to a shared development environment
• Joint marketing opportunities for application launch, including virtual NDN marketplace hosted on Netezza website

Resources:

• Access to the NDN community website, including wiki
• 20 hours of support via ndnsupport@netezza.com
• Two (2) training credits for on-site training at Netezza HQ or the Netezza UK offices (usable for the "NPS OnStream Technology" course or any other of the NPS curriculum)

Evaluation Membership
Membership Logistics:

• Cost: free
• Term: 30 days
• Renewal: N/A (if interested in more "permanent" relationship, can upgrade to Tier 2 or Tier 1)

Benefits include:

• Access to shared development machine running the latest NDN platform
• Opportunity to validate development ideas before investing in full membership
